Tr Shaun is an ex-MOE teacher with over 16 years of teaching experience in government schools. He has taught hundreds of students throughout his teaching career, with many of them going on to achieve their fullest potential in universities around the world. With the ability to teach Mathematics up to O Levels, Tr Shaun combines clear explanations, practical examples, and a supportive environment to bring out the very best of every student.

Tr Shaun is experienced in PSLE marking for both Mathematics and Science. He has won numerous Caring Teacher Awards in schools and is hugely popular among his students for his fun, humorous and engaging lessons in Math and Science. He has also been nominated by parents and his schools for the Outstanding Youth in Education Award and President’s Award for Teachers several times throughout his career with MOE.

Being a seasoned E2K trainer with rich experience in engaging high-performing students, Tr Shaun believes that Mathematics is not just about numbers but is a gateway to critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for success. He fosters an inclusive learning environment where every student feels empowered to explore mathematical concepts at their own pace, ensuring that each individual achieves their full potential.

Using a play-based learning approach, Tr Shaun creates play-based learning situations where students can play in parallel (individually), play in associative (in pairs), and play cooperatively (in groups) towards common objectives, enabling them to make new discoveries using all their senses.
